Why VasteLast exists

Many households do not know exactly what they spend on fixed expenses each month. Without that overview, choices are hard: can I afford this subscription? Do I have enough left to save? VasteLast gives you that overview quickly and without barriers, so everyone can get a grip on their money.

Who is behind it

VasteLast was built by Vincent van Gemert, software developer and founder of Valorsis, the company behind this site. He built VasteLast because insight into your fixed expenses should be free and accessible to everyone.

VasteLast does not give personal financial advice. We show your own figures and compare them with public reference figures, so you can make better choices yourself.

Where our figures come from

The reference figures we compare your expenses with are based on public publications by Nibud and Statistics Netherlands (CBS). On our sources page you can read exactly how we calculate and what the limitations are.
